there are patches on the building, indicating that there are cracks on it. why is it that there are already cracks when the whole project is only 6 years old. i live in a freehold condo nearby that has reached 11 years old, and yet there are still no crack lines. can this condo still be conidered safe to stay, and how will it be like a few more years down the road?

Afternoon Jennifer,

Construction technology have changed over the years. It have allow building to be built within shorter period of time, known as pre-feb. Joining two different pieces of material together will allow contraction and expanding. Hence cracks take place.
Older building technology built the building up using bricks and cement. Expansion and contraction are on smaller scale, hence not as visible.
Choose any high end project now with good pricing, you will still experience such issues. If you feel that certain building should be classified as "Dangerous for Living" you can talk to the management.. I believe you are knowledgable enough to understand such issues.

All the best
